Comments & Observations:

Despite a wet and dreary start to spring, the Secchi clarity of the lake was measured at a respectable 5 meters (over 16 feet). This is good for this time of year as all the runoff from spring rains typically results in less water clarity. The dissolved oxygen (DO) and thermal profile indicate the lake has turned over after a winter under the thick ice. Stratification has started to develop around 12 feet.
