Thank you to Cyndi and Rick who joined and assisted me today with the water testing. If you are interested in learning more or joining me on a test, please use the contact button below. As has been the trend over the summer, dissolved oxygen continues to be depleted in the deeper, cool waters. At this point all oxygen is effectively spent below the thermocline (the area of transition that separates the upper, warm waters with the bottom, cooler waters). At this time, only the turnover in fall can restore the oxygen to the depths of the lake.
