Comments & Observations:

A calm, clear morning welcomed us today for the water testing. Osprey, loons, eagles and several great blue herons were all observed around the lake today. Despite over 3 inches of rain this month and higher than normal lake water levels, the Secchi reading continued to improve to 18.7 feet. The dissolved oxygen profile chart above continues to indicate that oxygen is being depleted below the thermocline as the anoxic area continues to creep upwards.
